Crecen formaciones
arboríficas,
acuíferas,
unos helechos pálidos
del frío hacia arriba.
Tree-like,
water-bearing,
shapes are growing,
a few ferns, pale
from the dead cold overhead.
Un soplo
los haría
estallar.
A breath
would make them
shatter.
Debajo de tanta calma el río sigue.
En el hueco no se ve su corrección,
su alivio.
Dando tumbos se desentraña
la tierra, lo recóndito, lo necesario.
Abajo el limo ferviente, el nacimiento
del agua, los parabienes.
Beneath so much calmness the river continues.
In the breach it sees its own correction,
its relief.
Somersaulting,
the soil, the recondite, the needfull
is disembowelled.
below is the fervent clay, the birth.
